Support Specialists
Tim Bjerke (email) Tim has worked at SMI since 1987 specializing in geotextiles, trench drain products and in-floor heating products. He also provides support for all concrete products. Tim is our Fargo store manager.	George Blank (email) Since 1976, George has had primary responsibility for tools and *equipment* as well as city desk sales for all products.
Carl Blank (email) Carl joined our city desk sales staff in 2004. He specializes in stone and general product sales.	Patty Christenson (email) Patty began at SMI in 1982 and handles accounts receivable, customer service and does the billing for SMI. She also does mail and helps out with the phones.
Darin Liebelt (email) Darin joined SMI in 2007. He manages our Fergus Falls office. He specializes in septic systems.	Neil (Ponch) Davis (email) Ponch joined SMI in 1994 as our electrical powered service technician.
Marc Fetsch (email) Marc started at SMI in Grand Forks in 2009. He has many years of experience in construction sales.	Rick Hertel (email) Rick joined SMI in 2004 bringing with him thorough experience in construction as well as construction supply. He is our Grand Forks manager.
Wyatt Heyerman (email) Wyatt began working at SMI in 1996 bringing with him several years of experience in the construction supply industry. Wyatt provides primary support for our chemical lines.	Randy Jacobson (email) Randy began here in 2006 and has primary responsibility for all accounting activities. He also orders many of our commodity items.
Terry Kobilansky (email) Terry joined us in 1994 with 15 years of experience in the construction field. He handles many phone calls as well as city desk sales each day. Safety products are Terry's specialty.	Laurie Kramer (email) Laurie joined SMI in 2008 bringing with her extensive experience in construction supplies and rentals. Laurie is our *outside sales person* in the *northeastern SD and northwestern MN.*
Russell Larson (email) Russell joined SMI in 2004 and works in our Fargo office. He handles orders at our city desk and helps with our concrete forms.	Jeff Liebelt (email) Jeff joined SMI in 1988 as our gas-powered service repair technician.
Bob Liebelt (email) Bob, our warehouse manager, coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments. He started here in 1961.	Bill Meyer (email) Bill joined us in 1970 and provides product support for concrete forming and has vast knowledge of all product lines. He calls on customers and supports inside sales.
John Olson (email) John joined SMI in 2010 as our estimator and provides product support for many of our specialty lines.	Mike Opatril (email) Mike began at SMI in 1989 and provides primary support for our masonry and stone supply lines. He also helps with estimating and inside sales.
Josh Podliska (email) Josh joined SMI's sales team in 1998. He details concrete forming projects and assists forming and general product sales.	Phil Schettler (email) Phil joined SMI in Fargo in 2006. Later transferring to an inside sales position in Grand Forks.
